epicerie
2012
Despite chef and owner Sarah McIntosh’s pedigree in fine dining, when it came to her own restaurant, epicerie cafe & grocey, she wanted to keep things casual and approachable, with an eye on quality and detail. The food is elegant, but affordable. Instead of a waitstaff, there is friendly counter service. And when it came to the logo, it needed to be elegant, yet unpretentious in keeping with those ideals. We crafted the identity materials, the website and menu system.

Babycakes
2007 - 2013
Back in 2007, Babycakes owner, Erin McKenna, wanted a simple but comforting logomark for her new NYC bakery creating all-natural, organic and delicious alternatives free from the common allergens. Fs77 delivered with a hand-drawn logo inspired by the homemade frosting on cakes of childhood birthdays. Since that first store, babycakes has expanded into Los Angeles and Orlando, and into homes with two cookbooks! Fs77 has been there on the journey, helping to preserve the integrity of this sweet brand. Yum!

Shadow Hills Industries
2008
Shadow Hills Industries produces beautiful pieces of high-end musical recording equipment. Each piece is handmade and outfitted with vintage military equipment. The aesthetic of the logo had to match the beauty and vintage look of the product, and one more caveat, it had to include the Maltese Falcon. Is that a dream design brief or what?

Mushroom Men
2008
Fs77 was so happy to help Red Fly Studios bring their video game franchise to the Nintendo Wii console and Nintendo DS. We took our cues from the uniquely odd world view of a three-inch-tall walking mushroom, creating packaging, a website and a print campaign using its cast of characters and other-worldly scenes.

Aunt Bertha
2011
The folks behind Aunt Bertha wanted a personality for their search engine to help people in socioeconomic need to find the food, health, housing and employment programs they could qualify for in seconds. This personality needed to be welcoming, non-threatening but also have the sass that implied that she knows what she’s doing. Basically, we could all use an Aunt Bertha.

Hidden Room Theatre Company
2011
The Hidden Room Theatre Company wanted a “mysterious web presence” that was still full of information about their past and upcoming productions. That pretty much describes a dream project in our book. Shortly after launching, the site was featured on the front page of bbc.co.uk.
